I am interested in how urbanization and habitat fragmentation affect social behavior, dispersal, and the evolution of life-history strategies.  I completed my PhD in Conservation Biology at the University of Central Florida, where I studied the evolution of ornamental traits in juvenile Florida scrub-jays at Archbold Biological Station. Currently, I am the Statewide Florida Scrub-Jay Conservation Coordinator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and a Research Affiliate at Archbold Biological Station.
